The humid, shady boughs of the border of South Shroud was the only home known to Aidan growing up. Rootslake's waters lapping at the boughs of ancient trees -- waters that have since turned to swamplands.A land now scarred by the Calamity as much as this fellow survivor.Time and fate's machinations have taken the midlander far and wide across Eorzea and beyond. Indeed, he seems less at home in Eorzea than elsewhere. At present he finds himself learning the shifting sands of the Sagolii and the rest of Thanalan.

Equal parts gregarious and reserved, which side is shown to an individual first depends on the individual. While he remains physically removed from battle, it clearly has never fully left him.Aidan carries himself with a quiet diligence and ever stoic posture. It is a steady preparedness for what could come, for good or ill. He seems intent on not being caught off-guard. In the event he is, his means to cope is often jokes.Clothes are well-worn and well-kept, and calloused hands are kept clean. An almost overabundance of bracelets, trinkets and wards are on his wrists and around his neck. A bone and scale ring is worn on one finger. The most unruly part of his countenance is his hair, which is growing out and curly. His tending to it is little more than brushing it out of his face. Sometimes.

· Expatriate: You were originally from Kugane and recall an Eorzean adventurer working various odd jobs around the city. He seemed to have been living there at the time.· The Calamity: Cartenau veterans from the Twin Adders may recognize a young Serpent by the name Hawke.· Haunted: Aidan isn't a fan of loud explosions or uncontrolled fire. He's gotten better about freezing up, but his general go-to means to cope is to dissociate.· Out of the Woods: South Shroud natives may remember the name Hawke, recalling a large family that lived scattered within the woods.· Salvage Operation: You put out a call for someone to help scavenge abandoned Garlean castellums and castrums. He seems rather interested and experienced with such work.
